Frog

Tailless frogs (Latin: Anura) is a term derived from the Greek prefix "absence" ἀ (ν) - an- and οὐρά ourá, which also means "tail" in Greek, and means "tailless".

The majority of the frogs, which have adult features such as long hind legs, chunky body, diced fingers, dislocated eyes, and taillessness, lead a semi-aquatic life, but they can easily move on land by climbing or jumping.

The frogs, which are especially prominent during the mating period and attract attention with their calls called "croaking", are located in a wide spreading area from the equator to the subarctic regions. These creatures, which are distributed in 33 families, mostly in tropical rain forests, have approximately 5250 species and are among the most diverse vertebrates. However, the steadily decreasing numbers of some frog species attract attention. Frogs dry under the ground in summer.
